Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse

Location: Estes Park, CO 80517

Duration: 13 weeks contract

Shift: Nights 7pm-7am,

Job Summary

Provide quality compassionate patient care utilizing nursing process to meets the needs of patients of all ages.

Performs age specific patient care in a safe, timely and professional manner utilizing professional practice.

DUTIES:

· Administers medications utilizing the 7 Rights: Right Drug, Right Client, Right Dose, Right Time, Right Route, Right Reason, and Right Documentation.

· Demonstrates knowledge and skills to act appropriately in an emergency situation. (ALCS, BLS, TNCC, PALS/ENPC skills sets).

· Demonstrates knowledge and participates in education and counseling of patients and their family, caretakers or friends a plan of care and discharge teaching.

· Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competency. Certified ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS/ENPC.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

· Education: Associate Degree in Nursing

· Experience – 2 years preferred

· Colorado Nursing License or Compact State Multi-License

· Required certifications: American Heart Association ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC

· Recommended certifications: NRP, CEN, NIHSS

Ortho/MS/Onc Skills:

• Preferred: Traction, CPM, Epidural/PCA pumps, Feeding Tubes, Wound Vac

Cardiac:

• Preferred: Remote Tele, Tele Interpretation

Airway Skills:

• Preferred: CPAP/BiPAP

Job Type: Contract

Pay: Up to $70.00 per hour

Standard shift:

• Night shift

Weekly schedule:

• 3x12
• Rotating weekends

Experience:

• ER: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Required)
• RN (Required)
• ACLS Certification (Required)
• PALS Certification (Required)
• TNCC Certification (Required)
