Wheat State Manor is looking for a full-time Restorative Aide who will be responsible for providing restorative and rehabilitation care for residents to maintain or regain physical, mental and emotional well-being. The Restorative Aide will work with Registered Nurses, physical, occupational and speech therapists to serve in a maintenance capacity in the absence of the nurse or therapists.

Job requirements / duties:

• Must possess a current, active Kansas CNA license
• Must have the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the general public.
• Must have knowledge and understanding of dementia and dementia care.
• Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., that are necessary for providing quality care.
• Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
• Computer skills, knowledge of medical terminology.
• Complies with facility guidelines for documentation and physicians’ orders
