Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a pleasant dining experience by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and well-stocked breakfast area.

Our Breakfast Attendant position can typically be combined with our Houseman position for additional hours. Our houseman handles cleaning of public areas, aiding housekeeping with stripping rooms and removing trash, and other responsibilities.

Breakfast Attendant Shifts
-Weekdays: 7am to 10am
-Weekends: 9am to 11am

*If doing houseman duties an additional 2-3 hours can be added onto the breakfast shift.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure breakfast area is always ready for guests, including arranging tables, chairs, and food displays
- Prepare and serve breakfast items such as hot and cold beverages, pastries, cereals, and fruits
- Monitor food levels and replenish items as needed to ensure a consistent supply
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, lobby, and other public areas (including wiping tables, clearing dishes, and sanitizing surfaces)
- Assist guests with any special requests or dietary restrictions
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure the safety of guests
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations during breakfast hours
-Clean hallways, stairwells, and other common areas at the completion of the breakfast attendant shift

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Basic knowledge of food handling and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with guests and team members
- Attention to detail to ensure the breakfast area is clean and well-maintained
- Flexibility to work early morning shifts, including weekends and holidays

Opportunities to cross-train with our housekeeping or guest services department are also available.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 15 per week
