Hotel Indigo/Holiday Inn Express is Hiring a Housekeeping Houseperson Near Austin, TX
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Houseperson to join our team. here at Hotel Indigo and Holiday Inn Express, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hotel. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional service will contribute to the overall guest experience.
Duties:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, ensuring they are tidy, organized, and inviting
- Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and restock supplies
- Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional supplies or services
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times while on duty
- Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional manner
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to hotel policies and procedures
