JOB TITLE: Receptionist
DEPARTMENT: Clinic & Community Services
SUPERVISOR: Clinic Manager
PAY SCALE: 14.00
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least a High School graduate and three years experience.
Demonstrates secretarial and general office skills essential. Must have training in typing and modern office equipment, computer operation, Microsoft Word, and Excel. Ability to organize and manage data. Must be neat, personable, and have the ability to the meet the public. Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations.
COMPETENCIES:
Excellent organizational skills and the personality to work cooperatively in group relationships. Must be knowledgeable and have the ability to work with the public. Must possess high level of accuracy and attention to details.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Receptionist is responsible for operating the switchboard, greeting guests, and customer service. Responsible for traveling to all clinics and scheduling appointments. Receptionist is also responsible for the organization or chart room through scanning and filing documentation.
SERVICE RESPONSIBILIES:
Receptionist Duties
· Assumes duties of Switchboard operator
· Responsible for maintaining centralized schedule for consumers and medical providers
· Initiates reminder calls for appointments
· Maintains a neat and uncluttered reception/lobby/working area
· Greets public as they enter the clinic building/ provide Support
· Enters information such as appointments and updated demographics into Carelogic
· Ensures that all consumers have pictures taken and in consumer’s chart
· Monitors and distributes faxes
· Scans all consumer documentation into ECR
· Files all documentation into paper charts
· Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor

19. Annual Medications and Side Effects training
20. Admin staff members should have 16 hours of training per year.
ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Attends staff meetings and workshops that enhance the capabilities of the position.
2. Works cooperatively with all staff and administrators in seeing that the needs of the department are met and maintained.
3. Represents Vashti in a professional manner at all times.
4. Participate in CQI activities within the agency.
