We are seeking a Medical Receptionist with a professional manner, excellent communication skills and a great work ethic to join our private practice. Responsibilities will include answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, collecting and posting payments, obtaining Pre-Certs, and scheduling tests. Flexible to hiring full time or part time. Competitive Salary.
Medical Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer phones promptly in a courteous manner and assist patients with their inquiries as needed
- Schedule patient appointments
- Check patients in and out
- Collect and post co-pays and balances
- Maintain updated insurance information and patient records
- Obtain pre-certs and schedule tests
- Respond to office emails
Medical Receptionist Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 1 yr experience working in a medical setting
- Good computer skills, and experience with EMR preferred
- Ability to comfortably multitask and be a team player
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Professional demeanor
