Peddinghaus is Hiring an Industrial Painter Near Bradley, IL
Experience is highly preferred, but willing to train the right candidate!
- AUTO Painting experience is a PLUS!
- Able to operate and use all body shop equipment properly and safely
- Tape off parts correctly that are not to be painted
- Able to mix multiple colors of automotive paint
- Able to spray primer/paint with airless spray gun without any runs or sags leaving a good finish on all parts
- Able to inspect parts for dents and rust before primer/painting parts
- Maintain tools and keep equipment/area clean and in good working condition
- Maintain and wear all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator in a manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer
- Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinner and other hazardous material
- Must have a positive work ethic and willing to be a team player
- Overtime is available on a regular basis
- Able to use overhead cranes with proper chains/straps/shackles/s-hooks to bring parts in and out of paint booth
- Able to use fork truck to bring parts in and out of paint booth
- Onsite, full-time position; 40 hours per week with ongoing OT opportunities
