Job Summary: Provides direct and indirect patient care in the patient care setting under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. Communicates with supervising RN/Preceptor about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Participates in the department's performance improvement activities. Provides service to ages of neonate through geriatric. ALL ACTIVITIES THAT REQUIRE A LICENSE TO PERFORM MUST BE DONE UNDER THE DIRECT SUPERVISION OF AN RN. (Documentation of these activities must be cosigned by the supervising RN/Preceptor.) Activities that may be performed by unlicensed personnel may be done and documented independently. Other duties as assigned.
