Portage Bay Cafe is Hiring a Food Runner Near Seattle, WA
Portage Bay Cafe is looking for a hard working food runner.
The food runner is primarily responsible for delivering food orders from the kitchen to the guest, rapidly and accurately. Duties also includes maintaining the cleanliness of the expo line, organizing the tickets and communicating effectively with the kitchen. Food runners will also be responsible for the initial expediting of carryout and catering orders.
duties:
obtain and maintain a working knowledge of all food menus
assure guests have everything they need
communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests such as food allergies
stand and walk for the entire shift
lift and carry multiple plates from kitchen to dining room
*Weekday availability is a must*
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.75 per hour
Shift:

Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends only
