Dick Scott Motor Mall in Fowlerville is seeking an experienced and proven Automotive Dealership Parts Advisor. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years previous Parts Advisor experience.

Parts Advisor/Counterperson Job Duties:

· Stock in part shipments

· Sell parts and accessories at the front and back counters

· Deliver mail and packages throughout dealership to proper personnel

· Various tasks assigned by Parts Manager

· Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that may affect parts sales

· Answer phones and handle counter work in a professional manner

· Attend training courses provided by both the manufacturer and dealer

· Ensure work area is kept clean

· Assist Parts Manager as requested

Requirements/Qualifications:

· Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information

· Ability to use a computer and calculator

· DealerTrack experience is preferred

· Ability to communicate well both written and verbally with customers, vendors, and other contacts

· Professional personal appearance

· Ability to work well with others in a TEAM environment

· All Applicants must have a valid Michigan driver's license and excellent driving record

· All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA

· All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner

· Must be at least 18 years old

· All applicants must have the ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license
