Virginia Lube, Inc. is looking for Store Manager trainees for its Jiffy Lube® locations throughout the area. Good candidates for this position will have a background in sales and/or customer service and are great at dealing with people. One year of retail/hospitality management experience is preferred for this position. Previous automotive experience is a plus. Every Assistant Manager will receive comprehensive training through our award winning Jiffy Lube® University computer based training as well as hands on training. Job Responsibilities
The primary function of the Store Manager position is to provide an excellent experience for our customers and oversee the operations of the store. They work hands on to assist the team in the daily operations of their location and are responsible for customer interaction, training, directing, and coaching employees in all areas of operations. In addition they are in charge of bank deposits as well as inventory and cash control. This position is essential to our overall guest experience and the Store Manager is expected to meet company goals by providing clear direction and setting a positive example for attitude, professionalism, and work ethic. Some of the key duties of this position will include:
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid Driver’s License
Age 21 or older
Ability to speak, read, and write English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees.
Can complete the required computer based training (CBT) modules.
Attendance is an essential function of employment and you must be timely and ready to work your scheduled shifts.
Physical Requirements
This position will require the employee to regularly service cars. Thus, while performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
Use of hands, and fingers to feel, reach with hands and arms.
Able to climb stairs.
Able to lift objects up to 25 pounds and transfer from one height to another.
Able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
Able to communicate clearly.
