Position Summary

The Senior Business Analyst will provide overall functional design guidance in the evolution of an enterprise software application suite. This position will provide broad cross-domain and cross-disciplinary expertise in establishing the scope that will be used to design and develop DocMagic software solution. As a member of the project team, the analyst will work in an interactive environment with business and technical staff to ensure a high degree of collaboration in support of a successful overall solution. Responsibilities for this role will include writing business requirements, designing and testing software solutions, developing business specification artifacts for the Company, and collaborating with a highly skilled software development team.

Essential Functions

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of existing business processes, functions, roadmap, and
  • Effectively communicate new features and feature changes to various levels of the organization (Developers, QA, sponsors, CEO, etc.).
  • Collaborate with sponsors and stakeholders to obtain high-level requirements and compose and document detailed- level functional requirements from those high-level requirements.
  • Partner and collaborate with business stakeholders and the software development team on projects and

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst deploying enterprise software
  • 5 years of experience in writing software specifications, including business requirements, use cases, and interface specifications.
  • 5 years of experience with agile software development methodology and designing enterprise business
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence a plus
  • Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, XML, AngularJS, JQuery, NodeJS a plus
  • Mortgage industry experience and knowledge strongly
