Southeastern Salvage Home Emporium is Hiring a Retail Customer Service Associate Near Knoxville, TN

Here at Southeastern Salvage, we are looking for motivated individuals who enjoy working with unique products. Our ever-changing inventory includes cabinets, flooring, doors, countertops, furniture, rugs, and décor from all around the world. We are looking for reliable and friendly individuals that can communicate, multitask, and thrive in a retail/customer service environment.

Retail and/or customer service experience is preferred, but not required. Individuals with experience in furniture, merchandising, building materials, or retail are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time only position. Apply through Indeed or in store. For questions, call 865-544-1166.

Positions Available:

·Sales Associate – Building 1: Our Building 1 side, which is made up of furniture, rugs, home décor, and domestics, is where we are looking for individuals who are eager to take care of the customer, bring product out, and keep the salesfloor in good shape. As a sales associate, you will work through all departments - learning the product, putting it out, upselling it, and keeping the areas organized and clean.

Job Duties Include:
· Retail sales

· Stocking

· Customer service

· Cleaning

· Sign-making

· Cash-handling

· Answer phone calls

Job Requirements:
· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

· Must be 18 years or older

· Must pass pre-employment drug test

· Must pass pre-employment background check

· Must be comfortable in active warehouse environment (heat, cold, dust, forklifts, ladders, etc.)

· Must have good phone/walkie talkie etiquette

· Must be self-motivated

· Must possess basic computer skills

· Must have reliable transportation

Employee Working Hours:
· Monday – Friday: 8:50am – 6:15pm

· Saturday: 7:50am – 6:15pm

· Sunday: 11:45 – 6:15pm

Scheduled 40 hours per week with two days off (typically two days in the Monday-Friday day range)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week
