Chapman Law Group is Hiring a Paralegal Near Miami, FL

Chapman Law Group is a growing, multi-state healthcare law firm with an immediate opening for a legal assistant / paralegal. Two or more years experience, excellent grammar, typing >60 wpm, pass Microsoft Suite proficiency test, and be proficient in e-file state and federal. The desired legal assistant / paralegal candidate will have an industrious work ethic, be resilient, dedicated, motivated, and will accept criticism as an opportunity to grow. He or she will produce impeccable documents with minimal errors and express thoughts in clear, organized manner. The candidate will be very well organized and keep up to date file notes. Must be an independent, self-starter, able to work under pressure and be a team player!

Required Experience:

  • Criminal or Litigation Experience
  • Microsoft Suite
  • E-filing Federal and State
  • 2 years of Legal Assistant / Paralegal

Responsibilities

  • Preparing cover letters for enclosures
  • Preparing mailings
  • Photocopying, scanning, and faxing
  • Organizing records
  • Bate stamping
  • Opening and closing files
  • Organizing files
  • Client communication regarding calendar events
  • Scheduling meetings, depositions, and other events
  • Communicating with vendors Arrange travel
  • Order supplies
  • Answer phones
  • Greet Clients
  • Arrange travel
