The Registered Nurse (RN) Manager is a key member of the Coastal Harbor Leadership Team who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Nurses to enhance the quality of the patient care. The Registered Nurse (RN) Manager provides sufficient staffing and schedules personnel according to census and acuity, as well as oversees the new hire and annual training programs and ongoing competency-based education for all Nursing employees.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to established policy and procedure within the accepted scope of nursing practice. Evaluate the needs of the patient and make nursing assignments considering staff-appropriate knowledge and skill mix for facility
  • Utilize the nursing process in planning, providing, and evaluation of each patient’s care; document pertinent information properly
  • Consistently maintain a safe environment by demonstrating environmental safety awareness, ensuring compliance with the Search Policy and documentation of and adherence to all established Safety Program policies

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred
  • One year psychiatric nursing experience required
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • License to practice nursing in the State of Georgia
