Saint Paul’s Doyle Towne is a well-respected early learning center located in Clearwater, Florida. Dedicated to offering joyous learning experiences, we are looking for highly motivated, loving teachers to inspire and be part of a collaborative team.

This position is available in the Waddler (1-year-old) room. Saint Paul’s runs a co-teaching model, with two expert teachers working collaboratively to deliver quality, child-centred learning experiences for all learners. Recent early childhood graduates are encouraged to apply.

This is a year-round position with hours rotating between 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

• Develop and deliver a curriculum founded on the school’s philosophies whilst following childcare regulations
• Help develop co-teaching goals for the school and its teachers
• Create positive learning environments including resources based on research-based, outcome-driven learning
• Develop strategies to guide positive children's behavior
• Build good, open communication with children, families, and staff
• Observe and record children's growth, development, and behavior using electronic portfolios and learning stories
• Ensure the learning environment is clean, hygienic and safe
• Good classroom management and supervision skills

Education:

• Preferred: Bachelor Degree
• Required: Associate Degree or CDA

Additional Requisites:

• Experience working in a childcare setting
• Fantastic organizational and teamwork skills
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• A good level of computer literacy
• Current First Aid certificate with anaphylaxis and asthma training
• Ability to pass a Level 2 FBI Background Check
• US work authorization

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
