Job Description

As a Flex Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard critical infrastructure, ensure proper inspections and gate access control at an international airport, work with airport police to ensure a safe environment and assist with worker access compliance. Flex Officers provide contingency staffing for call-outs and additional services when required by the client.

Location: Richmond, Virginia

Part Time:

Hourly pay rate: $17.25ph

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and perimeter, vehicle searches and access control. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY ON WEEKDAYS AND WEEKENDS
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law on a random schedule.
• Must have an active Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) Unarmed Security Officer registration. Must have Armed registration with Firearm Endorsement for Armed positions.
• Have reliable transportation and smart phone (Apple or Android) capable of utilizing company required apps for scheduling and reporting.
