Job Description

Novo Logistics is seeking a reliable, self-driven, and team-oriented professional with problem-solving, communication, and management skills for the position of Team Lead. This position is within a fast-paced warehouse environment in Whitestown, Indiana. We offer competitive compensation and opportunities for growth.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Determine work priorities, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow in accordance with the Lead duties and expectations.
• Assign tasks to warehouse personnel and assist in daily warehouse activities, including inbound unloading/put away, outbound pulling/staging and loading, sanitation, product moves, etc.
• Perform cycle counts, bay audits and physical inventories, as needed.
• Complete all reports and records in a timely and accurate fashion.
• Communicate with customer service and transportation personnel as needed.
• Maintain and ensure compliance with high standards of safety throughout operations.
• Monitor and manage Team Member time, attendance, and payroll.
• Train and develop Team Members.
• Motivate Team Members in a professional manner.
• Provide coaching through observations and provide performance feedback.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of warehouse work instructions, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
• Skill in oral and written communication.
• Ability to solve problems and adapt to situations requiring solutions to unforeseen circumstances.
• Ability to maintain records, organize documents, calendar, and other assignments.
• Ability to communicate effectively with partners, Team Members, management, and others.
• Ability to multitask in stressful and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift, move, and transport up to 50 pounds.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime (which may include weekends).
• Ability to stand, bend and stoop for extended periods or for duration of shift (8-12 hour shifts).

Applicants Must

• Have reliable transportation.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be at least 18 years old at time of application.
• Be willing to submit to a background check and urinalysis drug screen (drug screen scheduled following interview).

Education, Experience, and Certification

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) plus years of warehouse experience.
• One (1) year of SAP/WMS experience.
• Certification in operating a forklift.

Employment Type(s)

• Full-Time, Non-Exempt.

Compensation

• Hourly (paid weekly via Direct Deposit).
• Overtime opportunities (overtime pay is equal to 1.5 times the Team Member's regular hourly rate of pay, for any hours worked over 40 in a workweek).
