JOB DESCRIPTION

Posh Hospitality Group is currently seeking a Full Time Hotel Attendant AM Shift. As a hotel attendant you create the first impression of our cleanliness to our guests! The hospitality industry is fast paced, exciting, career opportunities growth, rewarding and fun!

SUMMARY

Perform duties as assigned to include but not limited to cleaning, maintaining, and stocking the following areas: lobby, laundry services, food service areas, guest rooms, hallways, pool area, fitness center, deck, meeting rooms, break area, public washrooms, staircase, and elevators.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests and employees.

· Review section report to determine assigned rooms to be cleaned.

· Clean hotel guestrooms in accordance with hotel cleaning standards policy.

· Restock and replace all amenities as needed.

· Stock attendant/lobby cart with the appropriate supplies and cleaning chemicals daily.

· Clean all public areas including windows and mirrors.

· Maintain cleanliness of pool area, fitness center, hallways, stairwells, public vending areas and break area.

· Perform functions in laundry room to include but not limited to sorting, washing, drying and folding laundry.

· Restock clean laundry/supplies in appropriate areas.

· Prepare breakfast daily following food safety procedures.

· Load dishwasher with soiled dishes, utensils and cookware. Fill with detergent and start the cleaning cycle. Stock cleaned dishes in the appropriate areas.

· Clean all kitchen areas, mop and sweep floors, wipe down walls and ceilings, clean drains, vents and filters.

· Follow all safety rules and keep the work area clean and in an orderly condition.

· Conduct self in an appropriate professional manner at all times.

· Consistently follow through with the appropriate actions when asked to complete projects or tasks.

· Drive hotel shuttle to transport guest to local dining

· Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE

1-2 years experience in hotel housekeeping operations/laundry service is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee requires manual dexterity to operate all necessary equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision and distance. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 100lbs occasionally. Most tasks are performed independently with minimal direct supervision. Majority of work involves contact with cleaning products and chemicals.
