Sealing Technologies, a Parsons Company, provides cybersecurity services and cutting-edge technologies to the Federal Government. Sealing Tech is looking for a Program Financial Analyst to join the team! The Financial Analyst will report to the Finance Manager and oversee project setup, maintenance, and billing. Roles & Responsibilities:

Project Setup & Maintenance

  • Ensure new projects and modifications are accurately setup and available for transaction entry in a timely manner.
  • Work with Project Management team to establish project WBS structure.
  • Work with Project Management team to ensure people are appropriately mapped to projects/tasks.
  • Manage backlog report by ensuring accuracy of remaining funded value for active projects.
  • Assist Finance Manager in administering Unanet People & Expense Planner.
  • Assist Contracts Department in contract closeouts by verifying cumulative billed and unbilled amounts.
  • Escalate finance issues as appropriate, and work with affected parties to identify, troubleshoot, and implement steps to improve processes and / or prevent issues from occurring in the future.
  • Other relevant tasks are assigned by the Finance Manager.
  • Prepare charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems.

Billing

  • Performs a weekly review of project time and costs posted to Unanet with Project Manager to ensure accurate reporting of project activity.
  • Follow-up and take the appropriate steps to correct invalid charges.
  • Manage the reclassification of incorrectly coded expenses and labor to the correct project.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable to ensure the accurate coding of subcontractor expenses.
  • Confirms FFP billings milestones with Project Managers to generate weekly invoice submissions.
  • Manage prime contractor timekeeping systems by ensuring accurate and timely submission of labor claims.
  • Manage collections process by proactively engaging customers on past due receivables.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of project control experience; government contracting experience required.
  • Background working with different government contract types such as FFP, T&M, and CPFF.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills that enable complex problems and solutions to be effectively articulated to all levels of the organization.
  • Familiar with multiple reporting tools including Excel and Unanet
  • Ability to work in a small team with a highly collaborative manner to meet required deadlines and perform all necessary tasks.
  • “Hands-on” professional with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting

**This role has an internal job title of Financial Analyst III**. Salary Range: $72K-$104K and potential to qualify for bonuses. The anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
