An Inspector inspects the work activities of housekeeping team members by inspecting the cleanliness of guestrooms, bathrooms, and public spaces, to ensure a clean and well maintained property is presented to every guest.

Essential Functions include (but are not limited to):

• Inspect guest rooms and public spaces to ensure standards are met and exceeded.
• Communicate with management of issues within guest rooms or public space areas, looking for patterns and assist in the coaching/training process of Room Attendants as directed by the Department Manager.
• Support Room Attendants as needed in ensuring they have the appropriate supplies and tools necessary to do their job.
• Communicate closely with the Front Desk as to the status of rooms and guest requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Act in the role of Room Attendant, Laundry, Houseman, etc. as business levels require.
• Be a leader and a role model to all associates.
• Perform any other job duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be extremely detail oriented to ensure perfection when inspecting guest rooms and public spaces.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. is required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time in excess of 2 hours without sitting is required.
• Must have solid leadership skills and the ability to coach and train fellow associates.
• Ensure that guest satisfaction is consistently obtained and maintained.
• Professional demeanor - service oriented.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage time and work well under pressure.
• High school or equivalent education required.
