Basic Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Manager, Substation Construction & Operations or designee, performs maintenance tests of relays and controls throughout the District.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Five (5) years of experience at the Journey level in an electrical trade
Required Skills & Abilities
Electronics and trigonometry
Three phase circuit theory
Computers and computer programs as they apply to protective relaying
Ability to perform electrical testing of relays, circuits, and associated equipment
Communicate and work effectively with all levels of the organization, other utilities, and customers
Analyze and resolve problems
WAC Electrical Safety Rules, Chapter 296-45 WAC
First aid and CPR
SCADA and SCADA related equipment
May be required to perform the duties of a Substation Wireman
