We are looking for hard-working and eager individuals to join our client’s team of Production Technicians located in Westminster, MD. We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are looking to start or further their career in production and manufacturing with an employer that cares.
Job Description:
- Responsible for ensuring that Environmental, Health, and Safety are included as part of everyday activities.
- Comply with all work and process instructions.
- Participate in 5S cell efforts and continuous improvement.
- Identify improvement opportunities.
- Ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds.
- Utilization of proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job.
- Ability to work safe and report all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures.
- Obtain and maintain Certified Operator Status to meet the required level of certified elements
- Properly manage the traceability of components to ensure accuracy.
Requirements:
- Must be able to clear 7-year lenient background check.
- Must be able to clear a 9 panel Drug Screening not including THC.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Must be reliable and have a good attitude.
- Must be a team player.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience OR 1 year of military experience
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred:
- HS Diploma or Associates Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Technology
- Assembly or Test experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, Cellular Manufacturing, One Piece Flow, and Continuous Improvement concepts
- Experience with various types of industrial machinery equipment and tools such as lathe’s, curing ovens, thermal and/or life cycling machines, sanding and industrial painting tools, as well as standard hand tools are a plus.

Hours: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
Pay: $21.00/hr.
Schedule: We work 9/80 schedule. M-TH: 9 hours, Friday = 8 hours, following week M-TH: 9 hours and Friday OFF
