Purpose

The purpose of the Accounting and Finance Assistant is to provide support to both departments in all tasks, including coverage of the AR Specialist and AP Specialist responsibilities when those positions are out on PTO.

Description

The Accounting and Finance Assistant will be capable of performing the tasks of:

● Applying and recording deposits received

● Preparing the weekly payments file

● Generating Reports for month closing financials

● Reconciling deposits received with applied payments

● Generating and Sending Weekly reports

● Other Tasks as assigned

Qualifications :

● 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting preferred

● Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks required

● Excellent organizational and time management skills

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team

● Ability to multitask and remain motivated with a positive attitude

● Strong attention to detail

● Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
