The Service Director contributes to the success of The Rose through the direction and control of service to ensure a positive guest experience. The Service Director is responsible to oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary for the Front of House to achieve guest service and satisfaction, food & beverage quality, cleanliness and sanitation, and increased profitability of the restaurant. The Service Director leads the Front of House Staff in the execution of service and hospitality, and is responsible for the training, morale and professional development of (including but not limited to) all Servers, Bussers, Runners, Bartenders, Barbacks, and Market Staff, in conjunction with the Assistant General Manager. The Service Director establishes and maintains service standards and hospitality best practices. As one of the leaders of our Front of House Staff, the Service Director must embody The Rose’s Family Values and be able to teach and coach Rose Culture, while ensuring compliance with labor and wage laws. This position participates in pre-event planning in collaboration with the FOH Management and Events Teams, and may also be at key events to support and evaluate service and hospitality on-site as well as off-site.
