Program Description:

Backcountry Wellness is an eating disorder treatment program founded with the mission of bridging comprehensive recovery with the demands of real life. Our treatment philosophy embraces compassion and understanding, safety and nurturing, and a focus on family involvement to equip our patients with the tools to make lasting changes within their lives. Backcountry Wellness provides immersive programming for children and adolescents who live with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating, Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake, Orthorexia, and Other Specific Feeding and Eating Disorders (OSFED).

Job Summary:

The Clinical Supervisor is an experienced licensed clinician responsible for providing supervision to Primary Therapists by providing guidance, support, and feedback to enhance their clinical skills and professional development. The Clinical Supervisor will conduct regular individual supervision sessions to review clients, discuss therapeutic techniques, and address any challenges, while ensuring ethical and legal standards. The Clinical Supervisor will collaborate with other members of the team to ensure comprehensive treatment for clients and will maintain accurate records and documentation related to supervision sessions.

Essential Job Functions:

• Supervise select Primary Therapists and/or Family Therapists on a one-on-one basis for 30-60 minutes each per week
• Provide clinical expertise and serve as a sounding board for clinicians during weekly supervision sessions
• Bring a warm and constructive approach to clinical supervision

Qualifications:

• Must be an LCSW, Psy.D or Ph.D
• Licensed or registered as a clinician in CT or NY (LCSW, LPC, LMSW, LPCA, LMFT, LMFTA, etc.)
• Must have extensive experience with eating disorders and preferably the adolescent population
• Must understand the therapeutic process, confidentiality laws, and have strong knowledge of professional ethics

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $140.00 hourly
