Tuskegee-Macon County Head Start/Early Head Start offers a small community experience for our students and staff. We strive to empower our community and our families through meaningful partnerships and education.

We are seeking aHead Start Teacher to work at one of our 4 centers located in Tuskegee and Macon County.

Are you ready to prepare our students for success?

ROLE SUMMARY: This position is responsible for employing curricula that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of preschool children, ages 3-5, from diverse backgrounds.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must possess a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a closely related field. Must have (3) years’ experience in performing instructional activities with preschool children OR an equivalent combination of training and experience. Must meet criteria for background screening as required for child care licensing and federal regulations.
