Details for Classroom Support Services Opening in Carson

Be a driving force in keeping our center running smoothly. Duties include shopping, scheduling maintenance, meals, bus duty, ordering supplies, assisting in classroom.

• $16.00/hour ($16.55 if you have your CDA)
• 40 hours per week.
• Apply by May 8th! The position starts in August for the 2024-2025 school year.

Employee Cost for Insurance

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Adheres to all principles of confidentiality: Shares appropriate information with co-workers, family and community (knowing what to share with whom, when and how). Displays appropriate discretion in confidential matters relating to program staff and participants.
• Drives bus routes, when applicable.
• Clean staff vehicles and buses once a week.
• Clean facility as needed.
• Help in classrooms as assigned.
• Maintain outdoor playgrounds – i.e. snow shoveling, mowing, ice removal, sweeping sidewalks, pick up trash, etc.
• Maintain playground.
• Reports mileage.
• Do grocery shopping.
• Maintains WRHS vehicles.
• Attends Safety and Sanitation training.

• Requires high school diploma or GED and valid driver's license.
• Applicant will obtain CDL to drive small school bus. Head Start pays for the CDL course through Harlow's.
