Eastway Behavioral Healthcare is Hiring an Intervention Specialist Near Dayton, OH

Eastway Behavioral Healthcare is hiring an Intervention Specialist for grades 6-12 at the Webster Street Academy.

Webster Street Academy understands that there are lots of reasons that students struggle at school. While some of the issues may be educational, they almost always include a mental health component as well. At Webster Street Academy, we don’t wait until a student fails yet again to step in. We take the time to figure out why your student is struggling, and then implement intervention that can begin assisting them day one. We provide the support, programming, and attention each of our students needs to point them on the pathway to success.

Our students are 6th through 12th grade. At Webster Street Academy, we keep our classes small, so that our kids get the attention they need. Schools that have contracted with us send students when it’s clear their needs are not being met at their home school.

The Intervention Specialist will plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional learning environment for an entire classroom of students. The Intervention Specialist will follow the core curriculum set.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide an educational program for students as defined by the student’s Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).
