Mastectomy and Compression Fitter

Lehan Drugs, Inc. a local family-owned business serving the Northern Illinois area for over 75 years is currently seeking a Full-time customer service-oriented individual to join our dynamic team.

Job Duties:

• Mastectomy and compression fittings and sales.
• Perform an evaluation of the patient’s needs/specific prescriptions for post mastectomy garments and prosthetics, formulating a treatment plan, and verifying medical necessity.
• Perform an evaluation of the patient’s needs/specific prescriptions for compression garments, formulating a treatment plan, and verifying medical necessity.
• Oversee compression training protocol with patient care team.
• Maintain working knowledge of patients’ mastectomy and compression garment allowances per medical policies.
• Facilitate successful implementation of resupply for mastectomy and compression garments when applicable.
• Coordinate inventory management of mastectomy and compression items.
• Insurance understanding and sales order management.
• Patient education and instruction.
• Support and maintain professional responsibilities that promote and assure the overall welfare of the patient and the integrity of the company.
• Must be willing to travel to other locations as needed for appointments and training.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Obtain and maintain Mastectomy and Lymphedema Compression fitter certifications within 6 months post hire date (Provided by company)
