Automation Engineer who will be skilled professional who plays a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes through automation. Design, develop, and implement automated systems to enhance efficiency, reliability, and productivity within factories and production facilities.

What you will do - System Design and Development :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation.
Design and develop automated solutions tailored to specific manufacturing processes.
Program and configure machinery, robotics, and control systems.
Evaluate existing manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
Implement automated solutions to streamline workflows, reduce manual labor, and enhance overall efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems.
- Communication and Collaboration :
Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements.
Work closely with engineering teams to align automation plans with business goals.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
- Documentation and Reporting :
Maintain detailed documentation of automation designs, specifications, and changes.
Provide regular progress reports to management and project teams.
Who you are - You have any combination of education and experience equivalent to a BS in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related discipline and 5-10 years Automation/Electrical Experience, preferably in the paper or converting industry
- You have a good understanding and practical experience of PLC (Siemens S7, TIA) systems, and ability to create program code and program documentation -Including PLC communications using Ethernet, ProfiBus, ProfiNet, ASI Bus, etc.
- You have good practical experience and knowledge of operator interface systems (Wonderware InTouch, Siemens, WinCC Flexible) and the ability to program those
- You have practical experience of Drive Systems (ABB ACS600, 800 and 880 & Siemens Simoreg, Micro master)
- You are able to do hardware design and PI diagrams using AutoCAD and MS Project
- You're a good team player, have excellent communication skills and can relate to a wide range of constituents.
- Experience of SAP CMMS system and experience of ABB Multidrive systems tune up drive and retrofit upgrades are seen as an asset.
- Previous experience in project work, problem solving, and continuous improvement teams are preferred.
