Our Medical Assistants work in both the front and back office of the clinic. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-past environment while providing excellent care to our patients.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Back Office Duties

• Conducting blood draws, Non-stress tests, injections and completing vitals.
• Assisting in procedural set-ups such amniocentesis, cerclage removal, chorionic villus sampling (CVS).
• Scheduling surgeries with local hospitals, verifying times with patients and providers.

Front Office Duties

• Welcoming patients by greeting them, in person or on the phone in addition, to answering and directing inquiries from patients and referring providers.
• Registering, scheduling, and confirming appointments.
• Verifying patient demographic information and update as needed
• Collecting co-pay and past due balances

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
• Ability to travel to different locations in the valley.

Education /Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of an Accredited Medical Assistant Program
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• Associates degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years required, with OB/GYN experience preferred
• Experience with EMR system, Athena knowledge a plus
• Bilingual a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to walk and stand for extended intervals
