Aerometals is looking to add the following position:

Material Management Lead

Pay range: $75,000 - $90,000 yearly

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:

• Direct and lead department and make recommendations for training.
• Review and inspect incoming receipts from vendors, checking Bill of Lading/Packing Lists quantities (piece counts), and package damage.
  • Verify product meets purchase order requirements.
• Review and inspect vendor certifications against purchase order and specification requirements.
• Perform data entry functions to receive production into the company’s database.
• Identify products by tagging or utilizing other methods to ensure traceability.
• Ensure products in stores and inventory are adequately protected against damage and deterioration.
• Maintain an organized and productive inventory area and stores.
• Communicate with HR regarding hiring needs and complete interviews for open positions.
• Maintain consumables.
• Perform lock out and tag out procedures.
• Complete performance reviews: including but not limited to disciplinary actions, and/or dismissal.
• Comply with all safety rules, regulations, quality policies, and specifications.
• Prepare and train department on new processes and audits.
• Perform any other duties as required by the organization.

Qualification Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills:

• Ability to lead and supervise.
• Ability to use a computer and perform data entry functions.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Experience: 2 years in management and warehouse, receiving, or material handling.

Training: On the job training.

Aerometals Inc. of El Dorado Hills, California is a 40-year veteran of commercial and military aerospace manufacturing. We offer a full range of production services including CNC machining and turning, sheet metal fabrication, welding, assembly, autoclave, and precision assembly. Aerometals has significant experience manufacturing critical application, militarized components to OEM engineering data for use on many fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Customers include the US Military, Boeing, Lockheed, Sikorsky, etc.
