As VIKAND positions itself for long-term growth, we are currently seeking a self-starter to join us in the position of_ Buyer (ViPharma). _This position reports to the Procurement Manager.

POSITION

The primary focus of the buyer role will be all purchasing of pharmaceuticals and medical/surgical products from ViPharma supply partners. The person will be responsible for reviewing/approving invoices from suppliers, updating costs in ERP, researching possible substitutes, following up with suppliers on errors and substitutions, cost evaluations and assisting with client formulary RFQ’s.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible to find prospective suppliers, both domestic and internationally.

· Will issue all purchase orders for pharmaceuticals and medical/surgical items to meet client needs

· Produce weekly purchase order reports that will indicate accurate invoice number for all closed orders.

· Work with Supply Chain Team to maintain proper inventory levels based on trend and demand.

· Liaise with accounting, supply chain and medical team with proper flow of paperwork and communication.

· Cost analysis of product based on various factors

· Review and approve invoices and update the ERP system accordingly

· Act as liaison with suppliers and employees

· Communicate status updates of shipments to appropriate personnel.

· Responsible for savings and KPI achievements.

· Assist with client RFQ’s

· Perform other tasks as needed

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience with Dynamics Business Central ERP would be a strong plus
• Knowledge of pharmaceuticals strongly preferred.
• Critical thinker with attention to detail when selecting items
• Customer service oriented.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Demonstrated negotiation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency & experience working with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, OneDrive, Teams and other various platforms.
• Ability to pivot and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business or equivalent experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
