Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and products to customers in a timely and efficient manner. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to handle heavy lifting.

Licensing & Certification:

-Valid Class C non-CDL License

- Current DOT Medical Card

Education and Job Experience Requirements:

-High school Diploma or GED equivalent

-Minimum (1) year of Class C driving

- White Glove Delivery expierience is a plus

Responsibilities:

- Must have Valid Class C commercial driver's license

- Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including vans, 16 ft box truck, 26 ft box truck

- Load and unload goods and products from the vehicle

- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for delivery

- Communicate with dispatch team and customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues

- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries

- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving

- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance

- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

Requirements:

- Valid Class C driver's license with a clean driving record

- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Courier, or similar role preferred

- Maintain accurate “Driver Log” within FMCSA regulations (ELD)

- Must Pass pre-employment tests & Road test

- Must Pass a DOT drug test and have no prior positive tests or refusals

- Must be 22 years of age or older

- Other duties will be assigned as necessary by the company

- Work independently with general instructions

- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members

- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries

- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting and moving of goods under varying weather conditions

- Familiarity with local roads and routes in the area

- Move equipment / product (Home appliance, furniture, elec. parts, panel, TV, etc.) into customer’s businesses/homes, including ascending/descending flight(s) of stairs without damage to the product or customer’s property

-Ability to lift up to 75lbs without help

-Ability to move up to 300lbs with assistance of a dolly, hand truck or other person

-Performs other related duties including warehouse as assigned if there are no driving routes for that day

-Overnight stay, driver will need to drive to different states locally to do delivery / installations and stay at a hotel 1-2 times a week

Work Schedule:

- General services Days are Monday-Friday

-Hours worked may vary due to scheduling

-Start time will be determined depending on daily route

-Additional time may be requested as deemed necessary

-Be available for Saturday or after hour installations (if needed)

-Solo or two man delivery team (depending on type of product)

Pay:

-Pay rate: $18.00 ~ $19.00 per hour (depending on experience)

-Paid bi-weekly
