Job Description

Job Description: As the Collections Vendor Manager you are the single point of contact and the face of Fundbox to our Third Party Recovery, Legal and Debt Sale Partners. You will collaborate closely with all levels of employees within Accounting, Collections, Credit, Legal, Leadership and Technology at both Fundbox and our Vendors as well as managing a diverse range of administrative and relationship tasks to streamline and ensure successful Operations. Your responsibilities include organizing and maintaining documentation, multiple portfolios, producing and reviewing essential legal affidavits and documents, providing relationship support and oversight in vendor account receivables, platforms and contributing to various corporate transactions and compliance initiatives. Additionally, you will play a vital role in post-closing matters, ensuring the efficient closure, documentation and maintenance of Fundbox asset sale and legal transactions.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer sponsorship. Fundbox will not hire any applicants for Collections Vendor Manager who require employer sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.

In this role, you will...

  • Own the relationship and performance management of our Third Party Recovery, Legal and Debt Sale Partners
  • Manage and oversee multiple portfolios, placement and recall of loans for each partner
  • Produce, source and respond to all partner inquiries and documentation support
  • Work with accounting partners to manage invoices, remits and transactional inquiries
  • Process remit files and payments such as wires, ACH & checks
  • Organize, review, manage and notarize all legal documentation in support of our Bankruptcy, Legal and Asset Sale partners
  • Work closely with internal Legal and Finance teams for partner requirements and needs
  • Support Legal with Subpoena research
  • Partner with Compliance team in support of Vendor Management, Contracts, Compliant and Data Security oversight requirements
  • Build and facilitate monthly scorecard and performance reviews for each vendor
  • Collaborate with and support the Customer Operations teams on a daily basis

You should have...

  • At least 5 years of experience in Relationship or Business Support Management role (or similar operations and customer experience role)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal, rapport building and active listening skills
  • Critical attention to detail; checking work for quality and accuracy
  • Strong time management, organizational, administrative and performance skills meeting goals and time sensitive deadlines
  • Proactive, self starter and takes initiative and accountability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
  • Knowledge of compliance and risk management for commercial or consumer lending environments
  • Ability to work with and learn multiple systems/platforms in a technology driven environment (Partner Platforms, Salesforce, MacBook, etc.)
  • Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel), Google Gmail & Google Sheets
  • Basic knowledge of Accounting functions (receivables, remits) a plus, but not required
  • Notary a plus, but not required
  • Previous experience in a FinTech a plus, not required
