ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Organize and coordinate the allocation of material and human resources, and schedule the times for the fulfillment of the objectives within the framework of the signed contracts and agreed policies.
  • Monitor the progress of the project tasks and perform corrective actions in a timely manner to guarantee the efficiency of the results.
  • Coordinate with the Services Department the efficient selection in terms of skills, costs and time of the in-house technicians and/or subcontractors to carry out the project.
  • Will learn how to plan and manage mobilization costs necessary for the completion of the project.
  • Under direction, will assign work orders to in-house technicians and/or subcontractors.
  • Maintains efficient and close communication with the client regarding the assignment of projects and their progress status.
  • Schedule and organize the delivery of equipment and material for prefabrication and subsequent delivery to the installation site.
  • Monitors the availability of materials, equipment, and tools to ensure that the proper resources are available as needed.
  • Ensures that the disposal of excess material is completed in accordance with the instructions of the Project Manager.
  • Coordinates internally within the company and with clients the access conditions of in-house technicians and/or subcontractors, schedules and organizes the authorization of access to the locations.
  • Generates and records general and specific project information in the organization’s platform systems and guarantees its quality and timeliness.
  • Timely records the costs associated with the projects in the company’s platforms systems.
  • Maintains communication with in-house technicians and/or subcontractors during project implementation.
  • Leads and resolves potential issues during project implementation.
  • Reviews the documentation related to field work by in-house technicians and/or subcontractors and guarantees its quality and registration in the company’s platform systems.
  • Evaluates and recommends technical training opportunities for field staff.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the PMO through the analysis, design and implementation of robust processes related to the projects that increase the quality of the results.
  • Analyzes the results of the project: planning vs. results achieved, analyzes areas for improvement and proposes methodologies aimed at improving project management.
  • Produces planning, performance and results reports as requested.
  • Review the project closure documentation.
  • Evaluates project results, raises and socializes lessons learned.
  • Performs other related tasks, as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management)
  • MS Office proficiency required (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with others and take direction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to speak English, fluently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge in Telecommunications (desirable).
