The Employment Firm is Hiring a Test Technician Near Longmont, CO
Job Description
We are the leader in Electronics Manufacturing Services and simple-to-complex PCBA manufacturing, looking for a highly detailed test technician. As a test technician you will be responsible for identifying faulty components or manufacturing defects on production printed circuit boards and submitting them for re-work.
Test Technician Responsibilities
- Adhere to all ESD requirements and Board Handling procedures.
- Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on component moisture-sensitive levels (MSL).
- Read, interpret, and react to schematics for the troubleshooting process.
- Test production printed circuit boards to include but not limited to functional and boundary scan tests.
- Must have RF experience.
- Run software backups, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on tester control computers; identify signs of viruses or excessive fragmenting and clean them when needed.
- Support the production test operator training and certification program.
- Support test engineering development projects as required.
- Participate in test process and test station improvements, efficiency, and safety.
- Create test reports that accurately describe test results and other findings observed during test and/or troubleshooting processes.
- Utilize, enter data, and track yield/troubleshooting details with Clarity application for tested and debugged assemblies for all products.
- Train production test debug technicians as requested.
Test Technician Requirements
- 2 Years related experience or vocation or technical certificate without related experience.
- Highly computer literate
- Good deductive reasoning
- Clear and comprehensive verbal communication
- Highly repetitive or routine duties
- Ability to work on multiple procedures/products.
- Ability to support 2 or more product lines / customers.
- Experience operating test equipment not limited to HP 3070 and Genrad (Network and Spectrum Analyzers, oscilloscopes).
- Able to troubleshoot electronic circuits down to the component level.
- Prefer experience with amplifiers and attenuators.
Pay/shift:
- 1st shift 7 am-3:30 pm M-F
