JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

The Maintenance Inventory Coordinator performs, plans, direct and coordinate all the supply system for

the maintenance department. This person will be responsible for being the connection between

contractors, suppliers, machinery specialists and the Maintenance Department.

Essential Functions

 Prepare and keep in order the spare parts inventory.

 Maintain inventory levels min/max amounts that have been established.

 Planning preventative maintenance with the help of external intervention of other companies

(metal detector, ETON, Automatex, Blamir, painting, etc.).

 Prepare the spare parts and resources needed for the preventive/corrective maintenances and

interventions in cooperation with the Miantenance Team Leader and/or Maintenance Manager.

 Develop and maintain supplier relationships.

 Maintain an active file of all specialty items for production equipment.

 Maintain a current approved vendor list

 Search for cost reductions by utilizing alternative low-cost quality suppliers

 Receive FedEx/UPS shipments.

 Responsible for purchase order and purchase order revisions utilizing the automated PO system.

 Ordering spare parts and managing the backup stock.

 Order Mechanic Material and components.

 Ensures that all Fluvitex policies and procedures are followed related to the performance of the

Maintenance function.

 Perform daily maintenance walk-through of the entire facility and report findings to the

Maintenance Manager

 Establishes and communicates the level of quality and safety expected in the performance of

maintenance tasks.

 Limited travel may be required.

 Perform other duties as assigned.

Competencies

• Basic office equipment (Copier, Scanner, laminator)

• Intermediate level of MS Office Suite (dynamic tables, PPT presentations)

• Experience working with CMMS (if possible Fiix Software)

Required Education and Experience

Minimum of 2 years working with production facilities spare parts inventory.

Requires basic mathematical and writing skills.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time and remain alert at all times.

Must be able to work under minimum supervision and be able to occasionally lift 50 lbs.

Must be able to perform light maintenance and to consistently report to work on time.

Intermediate computer skills are required.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday with 40 hours per week.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
