Oversees the proper use of power equipment such as a forklift, hand tools, and other devices operated in a warehouse environment. Supervises the preparation and maintenance of all necessary records. Oversees daily activities within the warehouse responsibilities.

• Advanced knowledge of warehouse for domestic and international transportation
• Provide guidance to all levels of the warehousing & logistics organization.
• Drives compliance to all warehousing and logistics policies and procedures.
• Solid knowledge of business concepts/principles (terms and conditions, transportation, accounting)
• Understanding or ISO 9001 or equivalent system, understanding procedures and requirements and change control.
• Proficient ERP knowledge and experience in a manufacturing environment (Preferably SAP)
• Directs duties and assignments to junior level employees.
• Communicates effectively with internal employees and managers to problem solve challenges and issues.
• Knowledge of production schedules and kitting requirements in support of manufacturing
• Considerable independent judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems. Must demonstrate judgment, tact and diplomacy in dealing with internal and external customers. Initiative and organizational skills are extremely valuable to ensure a smooth operation. May determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
• Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies. Directs methods and techniques to obtaining solutions to problems of relatively routine to diverse scope and moderate to highly complexity, requiring analysis of identifiable factors.
• Has contact with all levels of company employees as well as interaction with vendors
• Provides technical and functional input as appropriate.
• Utilize lean manufacturing principles such as Kaizen events, or Root Cause Counter Measures (RCCMs) to streamline operations.

5 - 8 years warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing experience

Prior lead or supervisory experience required.

Computer skills, including MS Office required.

SAP, Sales forces preferred.

Associate degree or Higher (or experience in lieu of degree)

Forklift, pallet jack experience preferred.
