We are looking for a Technician Intern for a 6-month on-site contract position with availability to work a 40-hour week, Monday through Friday, from the office.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assembly and disassembly of cable assemblies, electromechanical assemblies, circuit boards, and component assemblies.
• Inspection of electromechanical systems for faults and performing necessary corrective steps.
• Recording testing results and providing updates as necessary.
• Following written procedures to assemble or disassemble electromechanical systems.
• Collaborating with team members to achieve weekly assembly and product output goals.
• Inventory management.
• Documentation.
• Assisting in packaging, crating, and shipping of hardware.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy items (35-40 lbs).
• Proficiency in working with small electronic and mechanical components.
• Familiarity with data entry tools like Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Basic understanding of electromechanical systems.
• Ability to use basic testing equipment and tools such as a multimeter and screwdrivers.
• Working knowledge of basic computer applications on PC and Macbook platforms.
• Availability to work from the office all five days of the week.
• Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and strong work ethics.
• Preferred education for candidates includes a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Pay Rate:

$25 per hour
