Position: Customer Service & Logistics Manager
Location: Andersonville, GA
Responsibilities: - Supervise all customer service and supply chain activities for Imerys Refractory Minerals, US markets.
- Ensure consistent best-in-class service to external and internal customers.
- Manage Order-To-Cash (O2C), Care-To-Retain (C2R), and the roll-out of Target Operating Model (TOM).
- Front Office interaction: Address customer requests, mitigate disruptions, ensure timely communication loop.
- Back Office management: Maintain quality of order book, support S&OP processes, and logistics coordination.
- Logistics management: Prioritize safety and sustainability, manage inbound feed schedules, and oversee international trades.
- Team coordination: Manage local supply chain team, ensure clear roles and responsibilities, and align with internal control rules.
- MasterData and IT systems: Oversee ERP system implementation, manage CRM communication, and ensure data accuracy.
- Continuous improvement: Align local supply chain with global roles, develop team through training programs, and lead lean management projects.
- External partnerships: Support transversal projects, manage relations with export partners, railroad companies, and review fleet railcars.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field preferred.
- Minimum 10 years in supply chain management, purchasing, and logistics in manufacturing.
- Experience with railroad companies and deep knowledge of SAP.
- Relevant certifications such as CPM, CPSM, CPIM, or CSCP preferred.
- Experience in or dealing with adjacent functions such as Sales, Supply Chain & Logistics, Production, and Finance.
- 3 years in the Refractory market preferred (or similar industry), with technical understanding of manufacturing materials.
- Financial acumen, analytical skills, and ability to travel up to 30%.
