A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PARTS RUNNER
As a Parts Runner, you are the backbone that our plumbing and HVAC field technicians depend on to keep their jobs flowing smoothly. You enjoy driving as you pick up parts from the warehouse or our suppliers and deliver them to the correct destinations. Our field technicians appreciate that they can depend on you to ensure that they have what they need when they need it. Ensuring orders are correct and each delivery is completed on time gives you a great deal of satisfaction. You also keep your vehicle well-maintained so that you can continue your delivery responsibilities without issues. In between delivering parts you will be responsible for inventory integrity and some facility maintenance.
You are a get-it-done person who likes keeping busy and being on the move throughout the day. This coupled with your helpful nature is why you are happy to assist in the shop, warehouse, and field as needed. Plus, as you assist, you have the opportunity to advance your skills. You enjoy learning about the plumbing and HVAC industries!
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
- Physical ability to bend, squat, climb stairs/ladders, and lift over 50 lbs
Salary Description
$15-$16 an hour
