Position Purpose

This position is responsible for merchandising, stocking shelves, and building displays in the large format off-premise channel. This role will demonstrate a high level of customer service while adhering to the high standards of High Country Beverage and our suppliers.

Essential Functions:

  • Attendance
  • Safely maneuver cases
  • Remain compliant with drug, alcohol, and motor vehicle policies
  • Maintain work productivity over differing conditions including but not limited to temperature and order quantity
  • Adhere to all state and company processes and procedures

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Complete the HCB training program as outlined in the High Country Training Academy.
  • Responsible for adhering to Saturday/Sunday Chain Service policies in all Saturday/Sunday merchandising accounts.
  • Assists in grocery store re-sets as assigned by the manager.
  • Build displays that follow supplier and retail guidelines.
  • Performs major merchandising projects assisting the managers and pre-sales staff. Position requires a significant amount of physical activity.
  • Responsible for understanding and complying with all quality assurance guidelines of HCB.
  • Develop and maintain excellent customer rapport.
  • Submit all required reports neatly and on time.
  • Responsible for adhering to State and HCB credit regulations and policies and collects outstanding debts as requested by HCB management.
  • Maintains proper upkeep of Company vehicles and observes safe driving habits when operating all Company vehicles.
  • Understands and complies with all local, state, and federal regulations along with all HCB policies and procedures.

Leadership

All Sales positions at HCB are considered leaders in the HCB organization. As such, the sales merchandiser will always maintain a professional appearance and attitude. Position will be asked to perform duties “above and beyond the normal” from time to time and expected to cheerfully perform such duties. Position expected to be a positive role model for other HCB employees.
