Position Overview: CLARK Material Handling Company is seeking a dynamic and resourceful individual to join our team as a Learning Management System (LMS) Content Designer. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in developing engaging and impactful learning content for our Learning Management System, catering to the diverse training needs of forklift operators, sales reps, technicians, and other stakeholders across the material handling sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in instructional design with exposure to adult learning best practices, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Minimum Responsibilities: - Design and produce interactive e-learning modules, instructional videos, simulations, assessments, and other multimedia resources focused on forklift operation techniques, safety protocols, maintenance procedures, product specifications, and industry-specific best practices. - Collaborate with subject matter experts (SME) to assess training needs and develop engaging eLearning content tailored to the requirements of various departments and job roles. - Employ instructional design principles and adult learning theories to structure content in a logical manner, ensuring clarity, coherence, and progression of learning objectives. - Collaborate closely with the LMS Administrator to ensure seamless integration of learning content into the Learning Management System, aligning with platform capabilities, standards, and technical specifications. - Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in eLearning and instructional design to improve training programs continuously. - Coordinate with the LMS Administrator to customize learning pathways and curricula based on learner profiles, job roles, and organizational goals, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and performance objectives. - Implement quality assurance processes to maintain content consistency, accessibility, and usability across different devices and platforms, adhering to established brand guidelines and accessibility standards. - Assisting managing the learning management system (LMS), including content uploads, user management, reporting, and troubleshooting technical issues. - Collaborate with training coordinators, instructors, and regional sales managers to integrate LMS resources into instructor-led training programs, virtual classrooms, and blended learning initiatives. Qualifications: - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field or relevant and transferrable work experience is required. - 2 years’ experience in instructional design and/or eLearning content development, with a focus on collaborating with SMEs in a corporate or manufacturing environment. - Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and Articulate 360 suite of tools (Preferably) and Learning Management Systems (Preferably Docebo). - Ability to be detail-oriented and devote focus and a critical lens to produce high-quality work. - Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines under pressure. - Demonstrates competent collaboration and relationship management skills and is able to work effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders.
