Main StreetHolly Springs, NC 27540Job SummaryThe Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the overall physical condition of the hotel and requires a high level of specialized expertise in all areas of responsibility. TheMaintenance Supervisorensureslabor and quality standardsare upheld and assists with establishinga positive work environment,delivering exceptional guest service and administering policies and procedures established by the company and the hotel brand.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerforms and assigns established preventative maintenance programs for equipment, guestrooms, and all other areas of the hotel.Performs repairs of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and building-related components.Oversees maintenance department with efforts relating to training, scheduling , and coaching.Coordinates and m anage s all maintenance projects and outside contract ors including gathering proposals, making recommendations, creating tim elines , and resolving issues.Maintains extensive knowledge of fire safety equipment, refrigeration, pool and elevator operation.Maintains pool areas according to company and brand standards in addition to applicable state and local codes.Maintains external property appearance including lawn, landscaping and parking lot.Monitorsand overseesdepartmentbudget, equipment, tools and supply inventories.Ensures compliance with all required health, safety and security standards and procedures.Maintains extensive knowledge of door locks systems including performing repairs, replacement and preventative maintenance.Operates common power and hand tools safely.P rocess es purchase orders and invoices for payment.Collaborates with property leadership team and regularly communicates pertinent information related to the facility and maintenance department.Assists team members and other departments as needed to contribute to operational efficiency.Maintains up to date knowledge of company and property initiatives through regular usage of company communication tools and systems.Performs a dditional responsibilities as assigned by l eadership.QualificationsAbility to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism.Conduct work-related functions in a professional manner.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Strong leadership and a professional image.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or ability to obtain.Proficient in the use of computers, including word processing software, spreadsheets, email systems, property management systems, and project management systems.Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project documents.If offered a position the candidate must complete a criminal background check.
