The Weighmaster is responsible for the daily operations and workflow for the scale house at their site. This includes preparing and sampling the grain for moisture, damage, and foreign material and communicating with truck drivers/customers as needed. The Weighmaster also communicates with the dump room operator to inform them of the type of incoming grain and enter the correct information on CompuWeigh tickets for each truck. The Weighmaster assists in the accounting actions for both inbound and outbound grain accounts. Speaks with and assists customers as needed. Ensures supplies are in place for multiple areas (postage, office, tickets, etc.).

Education, Experience, and Licensure
A high school education or equivalent is needed for employment. Prior experience working in a grain facility is preferred but not essential.
