Boncom Brand Manager

We are looking for a great person to join the Boncom team as a Brand Manager responsible for managing several client accounts.

Boncom is a strategic marketing and consulting agency that exists to solve noble problems, promote positive behavior change and build relevance for good causes. This important role focuses predominantly on ensuring overall client satisfaction. On a daily basis you are working with our clients and individuals and teams across the agency to ensure work is delivered on time, on scope and on budget. To do this you will oversee the strategic approach to the client contract and campaign. You will be a liaison between the client and the agency. You will work to make sure the account is profitable, and that Boncom's people and resources are allocated and managed effectively and efficiently.

You are an ideal fit if you've already got 3-5 years of experience in account management or project management at an advertising agency. If you are an extremely organized and detailed communicator with excellent presentation skills who is comfortable working in a busy agency juggling several clients then this could be a great job for you.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Advertising agency experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in brand management, account management, brand marketing, or marketing management
  • Accomplished project manager who is extremely organized, efficient, and detailed
  • Highly effective communicator with excellent diplomacy, presentation, and persuasion skills
  • Comfortable navigating the complexities of a busy agency with a variety of clients

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience in digital marketing and media
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Experience managing a team
  • Excellent writing, presentation and communications skills
  • Creative problem solver who is resourceful, proactive, collaborative, and self-motivated

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Stay focused on the client's objectives and the steps needed to accomplish them.
  • Maintains a working relationship and establishes a high level of trust with counterpart(s) in the client's organization.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively about expectations, plans, deliverables, and changes with the client and internal teams.
  • Manages project budgets
  • Anticipates problems, surfaces them, and resolves issues, especially in regard to strategy, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Keeps team apprised of all relevant client and market/industry developments.
