About You:

• 1-3 years experience in a relevant field
• Experience in community management, particularly in developer-focused spaces
• Strong understanding of social networks and their dynamics
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Knows how to write and edit copy thats personable, engaging, and on-brand
• Loves digging into new topics and learning new skills
• Knows how to use a comma, and familiar with AP Style
• Plugged into the tech media world

About This Role:

Codeword is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Associate Editor / Community Manager to join our team. If you love joining and participating in online communities, finding the thing that makes an audience tick, and turning that insight into great work all with enthusiasm and a collaborative attitude then youll fit right in.

What Youll Be Doing:

Community Engagement:

• Manage and foster relationships within the developer community on platforms such as Stack Overflow and Discord.
• Expand community presence to additional channels like LinkedIn, Twitter, and Reddit.

Developer Support:

• Identify developer queries and relay them to subject matter experts for timely and accurate responses.
• Act as a liaison between the community and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication.

Content Curation:

• Evaluate existing client content and repackage it for optimal presentation on various platforms.
• Develop creative strategies to enhance content visibility and engagement.

Networking and Insights:

• Monitor social networks to identify trends, topics, and concerns within the developer community.
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights and share relevant information with the community.

Your Compensation:

Our budget for this role is $60K-70K, depending on experience.
