Heavy Equipment Operator

We're looking for an Equipment Operator who will be responsible for the successful day-to day operation of assigned equipment.

Duties:

• Takes full responsibility for the safe and productive operation of equipment. Communicates regularly with the Job Foreman, i.e. concerns, opinions and other feedback.
• Takes full responsibility for daily "routine maintenance" of equipment used. This will be accomplished by a walk around before use inspecting fluids, possible repairs, oil pressure, etc. The equipment manual will give a detailed inspection check list.
• Complete all activities and tasks according to the plans and specifications.
• Ensure all safety requirements are being met on the jobsite and conduct reviews.

Required Experience:

• Ability to operate heavy construction equipment, road graders, rock trucks, bulldozers, scrapers, shovels, excavators, tractors, loaders, and forklifts.
• Ability to perform duties and operation of tools of the trade in strict compliance with OSHA rules.
• Must have 3 year of prior work history as an operator
• Must possess and maintain current driver's CDL license.
• Must have a high school diploma or Equivalent
